This week, Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera (No. 240 in the ESPN World Fame 100 rankings) entered new areas of business.

The Venezuelan infielder, the first triple batting crown in the majors since 1967, introduced Bitbits, "a crusty rice base covered in creamy milk chocolate." His Twitter account (currently 1.1 million followers) has served as a promotional display case for the new product marketed by Miggy Foods, Inc.

Meanwhile, Cabrera has let his club speak for him, with four batting titles over a five-year period between 2011 and 2015, making him the ninth player in Major League history to achieve such a feat. He has been called to the All-Star Game on 11 occasions, amidst a cascade of achievements.
